Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Nutella (as needed)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the flour to the mixture and mix until a dough forms. You can use a spoon or your hands to combine the ingredients.
Once the dough is formed, take small portions (about a tablespoon) and roll them into small balls.
Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each one.
Using your thumb or the back of a spoon, make a small indentation in the center of each dough ball.
Fill each indentation with a small amount of Nutella, about 1/2 teaspoon.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies turn golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow the Tremissò to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes.
Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely. The Nutella filling may still be soft at this point, so handle the cookies gently.
Once the cookies have cooled, they are ready to be enjoyed! Serve them with a glass of milk or your favorite hot beverage.
