Mango Kulfi is a delicious Indian frozen dessert that’s made with mango puree, condensed milk, and heavy cream. Here’s a recipe for Mango Kulfi Ice Cream:
Ingredients:
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
2 cups heavy cream
2 cups fresh mango puree (from about 2-3 ripe mangoes)
1 tsp ground cardamom
1/4 cup chopped pistachios (optional)
Instructions:
In a large bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and heavy cream until well combined.
Add the mango puree and ground cardamom to the bowl and stir until everything is thoroughly mixed.
Pour the mixture into a large, deep baking dish or metal loaf pan. Cover the dish with foil or plastic wrap.
Freeze the mixture for 4-6 hours, or until it’s partially set. Stir the mixture every hour or so to prevent ice crystals from forming.
After the mixture has partially set, remove it from the freezer and blend it in a food processor or blender until it’s smooth and creamy.
Pour the mixture back into the baking dish or metal loaf pan and freeze it for an additional 4-6 hours, or until it’s completely set.
Once the Mango Kulfi is fully frozen, remove it from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes to soften slightly.
Scoop the Mango Kulfi into bowls or cones, and sprinkle chopped pistachios on top (if desired).
