Healthy Burgers

Ingredients
2 1/4 pounds ground beef lean or extra lean
1 clove garlic minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon American mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
To assemble
8 burger buns
1/2 cup lettuce
1 large tomato sliced
1/4 cup pickles
1/4 cup Big mac sauce

Instructions

Mix all the ingredients for the burger patties in a mixing bowl until well combined. Shape the mixture into eight thin patties using lightly moistened hands. Cook the patties on a non-stick grill pan or charcoal grill with oil for 3-4 minutes per side. Repeat until all patties are cooked. Serve assembled with your preferred buns and fillings.

Notes:

  • Store only the burger patties for later enjoyment, not assembled burgers.
  • TO STORE: Refrigerate leftover burger patties covered for up to five days.
  • TO FREEZE: Place cooled, cooked burgers in a shallow container and freeze for up to 6 months.
  • TO REHEAT: Microwave for 20-30 seconds or warm in a non-stick pan until hot.
