Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Whisk pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, chicken broth, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
- Reserve 1 cup of the marinade for basting and pour the rest over the chicken breasts in a zip-top bag. Marinate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from marinade, season with salt and pepper, and grill for 6-7 minutes on each side, basting with the reserved marinade, until cooked through.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve with grilled pineapple slices for an authentic touch.
