Ingredients:
• 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
• 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
• 2 ripe bananas, sliced
• 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
• 2 cups heavy cream
• 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• Cocoa powder or chocolate shavings, for garnish
Directions:
. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Bake for 8-10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
. Meanwhile, place the unopened can of sweetened condensed milk in a pot and cover it with water. Bring the water to a gentle boil and let it simmer for 2-3 hours. Make sure to keep the can fully submerged in water at all times. Allow the can to cool completely before opening.
. Once the crust and condensed milk are cooled, spread the caramelized condensed milk evenly over the crust. Arrange the sliced bananas on top of the caramel layer.
. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Spread the whipped cream over the bananas.
. Garnish with cocoa powder or chocolate shavings.
. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving. Enjoy!
