Crispy Air Fryer Chickpea

Ingredients:

1 can (15 ounces) chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained and rinsed
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for a few minutes.

In a bowl, combine the chickpeas, olive oil, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the chickpeas are well coated with the spices and oil.

Transfer the seasoned chickpeas to the air fryer basket. Spread them out evenly in a single layer to ensure they cook evenly.

 

Place the basket into the air fryer and cook the chickpeas for about 15 to 20 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes to ensure even cooking. The chickpeas should turn crispy and golden brown.

Once the chickpeas are crispy and browned to your liking, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

 

Serve the crispy air-fried chickpeas as a snack or use them as a topping for salads, soups, or grain bowls.
