Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar, soy sauce, ketchup, honey, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease it with cooking spray or oil. This will make cleaning up easier.
Place the chicken legs or wings on the prepared baking sheet, arranging them in a single layer.
Pour half of the caramelized sauce over the chicken and brush it evenly to coat the pieces.
Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
Remove the chicken from the oven and brush it with the remaining caramelized sauce.
Return the chicken to the oven and bake for an additional 20-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice caramelized glaze.
You can optionally broil the chicken for a couple of minutes at the end to make the skin extra crispy, but watch it closely to avoid burning.
Once done, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Enjoy your delicious caramelized baked chicken legs or wings!
